NorthRenew Sells Its 300 MW Lavaca Bay Solar Project

Becket, MA – NorthRenew Energy (“NorthRenew”) announced today the sale of their Lavaca Bay Solar project to a major midstream energy company.

The Lavaca Bay project, located in Matagorda County, Texas, is expected to have over 300MW of nameplate solar capacity and commence construction in the first quarter of 2023 with commercial operations planned for mid-2024. This transaction represents NorthRenew’s third project sale in 2022 and its seventh project sale since the company’s inception in 2017.
